Commitment to Quality
At LP Aero Plastics, only materials with the highest quality optics is used to manufacture our windshields and windows. Their craftsmen use only aircraft-quality acrylics and other materials that meet Federal and Military specifications. All FAA-PMA approved parts are shipped with an FAA-PMA approval tag as well as a domestic 8130-3 Airworthiness Approval Tag.
Their on-staff FAA-DMIR’s (Designated Manufacturing Inspection Representative) continuously monitor quality control systems which are approved by the Federal Aviation Administration, and meet the requirements of the Department of Defense. Our ODAR (Organizational Designated Airworthiness Representative) is available to assist in numerous certification issues for the OEM, TC, and STC projects and their demanding Quality Department leads our commitment to AS9100D Aerospace compliance.
